Stay True Supply - Styles of Danger

Stay True Supply is an exciting football brand that strives to capture the aesthetic of music, film, and entertainment to deliver impactful designs reflecting a passion for innovative and forward thinking.  Every detail captures the thoughtfulness of their creator and lend themselves subtly to the overall complexity of the garment.

Based in Chicago, the world's introduction to this brand came through the line of kits inspired by one of the cities most influential artists of recent years, Mr Kanye West.  Starting with the Graduation Kit in 2017, Stay True blasts off and draws inspiration from the album of its namesake and design aesthetic of the famous Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.  The exclusive kit was numbed and stitched 1 to 12 on the bottom trim, and Kanye's deeply symbolic words from the album, "Everything I'm Not Made Me Everything I Am" centered on the shoulder-blades.  

From here the line follows the trajectory of Ye's work we have kits inspired by his classic releases through the years masterfully capitalizing on the distinct styles and aesthetics presented by each.  The attention to details like emblems symbols and hidden meanings are abundant and cleverly worked into the kits.  They exemplify his musical journey in a perfect way. 

Stay True Supply - Donda Kit (White) - The Football Boutique

Features the number ten, which is in reference to the 10th studio album. Also there is reference to "Messi" on one of his tracks, who is #10. The words "I wanna go to the moon" reference from a track and also GLOWS IN THE DARK. The silhouette of Ye on the back is from his ATL listening party when he was lifted up high above the performance floor. The Graduation Bear coming from Ye's chest is a return or a release of the old Kanye emerging from himself ...

Looking past Mr. West the merger of pop culture and football continues into something unexpected but perfect, Kung-Fu!  For me the Wu-Tang inspired uniforms and the Kill Bill vol. 1 black and yellow designs complement each other, blurring the lines once again between art, music, and football.  Stay True Supply has been able to capture these themes and not only recognize the details that become the fabric of the message but create intricate designs that carry them forward in unique and symbolic ways.
